Tough loss at Kimball in CMC opener
The Jaguars girls' basketball team had their chances but lost 38-33 at Kimball Area (4-2) tonight in the Central Minnesota Conference girls' basketball opener. They had it tied 31-31 in the second half but went ice cold down the stretch to slip below .500 at 2-3 overall. In terms of field-goal shooting, they fired a remarkably warm 48.3 % from the floor but attempted only 29 shots in the game. Defensively, they played a great game but couldn't get the offense on track.
At NL-S, the Jaguars boys' basketball team won their 38th game in a row by a 71-62 score.
