I was just starting to review more of my notes from last night. It was interesting to see that Brendon Loch's interception return for a touchdown came with 10:26 left in the third quarter. Holdingford started the second half with possession and had it up to that point of the game.

The Brooten Fire Department held a gun raffle and pork feed tonight at the Pavilion. They had a great turnout, and the food was excellent! What a great bunch of men and women...whose services you hope to never need, but when you do you are extremely grateful for what they do.

I heard yesterday that on Thursday the 7th grade volleyball girls went 6-0 in six matches against Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City. They were split into two teams that played three matches each. Game scores were 25-6, 25-7, 25-14, 25-11, 25-19, 25-13. Wow! That squad plus the 8th grade volleyball team hosts a match on Monday at the elementary school at 4:15pm. It basically kicks off B-B-E's Homecoming week...the 25th in a row we've held since the pairing. Other Monday events include: a home JV football game against Rockford (4:30) and a JV/varsity volleyball match in Willmar at Ridgewater College against Minneota (5:30/6:45).

On Sunday I'll start posting other Homecoming-related information.
