Game time!! Here comes the lightning

Fans take shelter inside the high school as the lightning continued well past 7:30...not good!

And it is raining.

**Update: with 10 minutes and 47 seconds left in the first quarter, the game was paused due to lighting strikes in the area.

According to MSHSL rules, there will be at least a 30-minute game delay. About 10 minutes later, lightning strikes were still seen in the immediate Belgrade area.

Fingers crossed that we can resume the game!!!

An update from Holdingford: early in the 2nd quarter, the Huskers have a bit 19-0 lead over Maple Lake. It appears as though they are on their way to winning the conference title outright.*Before halftime, the Huskers put up another touchdown and have a 26-0 lead.

**Update: still in a delay at 8:30pm. The natives are getting restless!

I was wrong, the game is not restarting. At 8:56 we are still waiting.
