Section 4A championship football game is in Sauk Centre

What they had in Sauk Centre through the fall of 2011 / Spring 2012. This was completely renovated in 2012.

Cement being poured on August 14, 2012 for the foundation of the stadium bleachers and press box.

Shown is the press box in Sauk Centre getting the siding added on Sept. 26, 2012.

B-B-E Jaguar fans have basically no excuse not to get to Sauk Centre tomorrow night, where district officials are rolling out the red carpet for fans in order to accommodate a huge crowd. I just heard that two additional portable bleacher sets are being added. That's on top of the regular stadium seating that holds 1,100.

The distance from the northern border of B-B-E (the B-B-E/Sauk Centre line) to the Sauk Centre football stadium is just 9.86 miles. It's the shortest distance a B-B-E team has ever had to play in a section championship. (Barely beating out the 2005 volleyball section final, when the Jaguars played in Melrose.)

Once again: the Section 4A football championship between the B-B-E Jaguars and Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity is Friday, November 1 with a 7:00 pm kickoff. Let's give the Jaguars a real home field advantage tomorrow!
