Turn it around, Jaguars

I just looked at the schedule for Nevis and saw they tied with Dawson-Boyd at the Showcase tournament in Burnsville two weekends ago...and then in the consolation championship around, the Blackjacks beat Nevis 2-1 in the final match.

CMC-Prinsburg beat Dawson-Boyd 3-1 in a Camden North Conference match on September 12. And we know how the match ups between B-B-E and CMC-Prinsburg went last weekend.

My point is that Nevis is mortal. They're not playing superhuman volleyball like they have the past two years. If we win the sub-section title, it's possible we could even see Braham or Sebeka in the section finals. If...a big IF right now, if the Jaguars can turn around their volleyball season, I see no reason why they can't win the Section 5A title. It's there for the taking if they can find their Mo-Jo again.

Make no mistake, we have a very, very good volleyball team. They could be close to greatness at playoff time. The talent and capability is there to get to state and win at state.
