B-B-E schools closed today

Another "Monday off" of school bites the dust.

I have to learn more about the Section 5A wrestling before I post about that.

The Melrose boys' basketball game is nixed...will (probably) not be made up because it's a non-conference game.

**9am update: Section 5A wrestling will not happen tonight in Kimball. Kimball schools (the host site of the tournament) among a host of other schools are closed today. According to Coach Friedrichs, it's possible that the entire tournament will take place tomorrow, Saturday, at Kimball. It would start much earlier than 12 noon of course. Announcements related to this will be posted ASAP.

Also, be advised that ANY travel on rural roads is dangerous and puts your life at risk. For example, Highway 28 between Sauk Centre and Villard is impassable in multiple locations. Complete white-outs, drifts too big to drive through...not good!!!

The Pierz girls' basketball game that was supposed to be tonight will probably be moved to Monday night. The Minnewaska game that was supposed to be Monday will probably be nixed and not made up.

**Remember to check on your neighbors today, young or old. Even if it's with a simple phone call, let's watch out for one another and do what we can to get through it. We're all in this together.

And for God's sakes people, STAY HOME if you are able to!
