Girls' golf second at Sauk Centre

Emily Wosmek's shot (above) dropped within a couple feet of Hole No. 16 at Greystone; she ended up with a birdie and shot a 52 on her back nine on Wednesday.

The Jaguars girls' golf team had a terrific showing at the Sauk Centre invitational on Wednesday at Greystone Golf Course. Their score of 403 (a season-high on 18-holes) was good for second place.

Team standings were: 1st Alexandria 333; 2nd B-B-E 403; 3rd Albany 421; 4th Sauk Centre 426; 5th St. Cloud Apollo 470.

Nice work!

The girls' golfers host the next Central Minnesota Conference meet this Friday at Prairie View Community Golf Coursehttp://prairieviewgolfcourse.com

Also, if your son or daughter doesn't have a spring sport in mind for next year, I strongly encourage you to consider golf. The Jaguars golf programs have had a great deal of success over the years, and with better turnout the future could be even brighter than it is today. If you have questions about costs or anything else please give the school a call and contact one of the coaches.
