Cassandra Hoppe is one of four seniors on this year's girls' tennis team; she holds the number-one singles spot.

The B-B-E Jaguars girls' tennis team picked up an exciting and down-to-the-wire 4-3 win today in their season opener. Long Prairie-Grey Eagle/Upsala-Swanville Area and the Jaguars battled to a 2-2 tie, then split the next two points which set up the dramatic ending at number-one singles.

Cassandra Hoppe, B-B-E's one-dubs player, ultimately picked up a two-set win with a second-set tiebreaker to clinch the win for the Jaguars.

And some video from one-singles action:

Up next is a triangular at Melrose Area next Wednesday. The other team is Becker.
