Prairie Conference tennis

Members of the B-B-E Jaguars girls' tennis team had a truly super Saturday this weekend.

Morgan Meyer and Erin Rooney at one doubles advanced to the championship match of the Prairie Conference girls' tennis tournament on Saturday. They were facing the one doubles team from state-ranked Osakis when the event was rained out. At two doubles, Jessica Raveling and Sonja Carson were playing for third place when that was rained out.

Three-doubles players Mallory Bents and Addy Wohlman took third place.

Long Prairie-Grey Eagle activities director Randy Swanson reported that the unfinished matches will be made up at a future date.
