Youth wrestlers off and running

Youth wrestlers with their runner-up team trophy.

The B-B-E elementary youth wrestlers took second place out of eight teams at a very tough home tournament this past Saturday. It comes on the heels of the NL-S and K-M-S tournaments. To read more about the home tournament, check out this week's Bonanza Valley Voice. Reading over their team scores is impressive!!!

On an unrelated note. How important are programs in a high school? Let's take "shop" for example. Read the following story at the West Central Tribune. It's fascinating to see how high school programming pays off in dividends. The person in the story built a career out of what he initially learned in shop class at Milaca High School many decades ago.

Preserving and fighting for high school programming is a worthy cause.
