Elrosa defeats Lake Henry

The Elrosa Saints amateur baseball team is 6-0 in the Stearns County League North division after dispatching visiting Lake Henry 4-1 on Friday night. The Lakers dropped to 2-3 (fourth) in the SCL-South division.

No word on a final score tonight in the Elrosa vs. Parkers Prairie/Urbank game. After the fifth inning, the Saints trailed 6-1. That's all I know.

In another SCL game on Friday, Spring Hill lost an 11-inning battle at St. Martin by a 7-6 score. They are now 5-2 (second) in the SCL-North division. Those two teams played for the Region 15C championship in 2014, with the Martins winning that game.
