Blast from the past

Austin Young is holding the basketball in this photo taken in March 2015 during the junior high CMC tournament in Maple Lake. His number was 33.

The eighth-grade boys' basketball Jaguars defeated Kimball Area 38-36 in the third-place game. Payton Van Beck hit a buzzer-beater, in the air as the buzzer sounded, to lift the Jaguars to third place. Here's video from the waning seconds of the third-place game during the 2015 Central Minnesota Conference boys' basketball eighth grade tournament:
