'Been swamped

The news and sports departments of the Bonanza Valley Voice have been hopelessly swamped for the past couple of weeks...after a brief respite following the unwinding of Bonanza Valley Days and Belgrade August Fest reporting, it's been piling on here.

B-B-E Hall of Fame reporting has been the big factor...we're working on two more stories for this week's Voice for readers to enjoy.

This is a huge week for many reasons. One big item circled on the calendar is our home opener for the B-B-E Jaguars volleyball team. They host neighboring rival Paynesville Area for a border battle this Thursday night. It's gonna be an incredible night on the court! The Jaguars are 6-2, while the Bulldogs are at least 6-1 overall. I've e-mailed their coach to confirm their record.

The Jaguars have payback on their minds, as the Bulldogs won 3-1 on their court last season.
