Undefeated Silverstreaks

The B-B-E Jaguars boys' basketball team had a tall order at hand tonight in a non-conference battle on the home court with undefeated Osakis.

A one-possession game played out for the first 13 minutes. With five minutes to go, Osakis held a 22-20 lead. They went on a tear to close out the first half, and at the break the Silverstreaks led 36-22.

Osakis (23-0) kept the pressure on and led 45-27 with 10 minutes left.

Final score: Osakis 60, B-B-E 47. The main difference in the game was in shooting percentages: Osakis drained field goals at a 48 percent clip, while the Jaguars made 34 percent of shots from the floor.

Next for the Jaguars (13-10, 7-4) is a huge road game at Paynesville next Tuesday, February 26 in a Central Minnesota Conference border battle.
