Two wins

This was a two-win night for the Jaguars!

At home tonight, the B-B-E Jaguars boys' basketball team had a battle on their hands with Kimball Area. The second period ended with the score tied at 58-all.

Final score: B-B-E 64, Kimball Area 58 in overtime. The Jaguars, still in fourth place in the conference, are 12-9 overall heading into Thursday's road game at Pierz. It will be another huge Central Minnesota Conference game for the team as they attempt to stay in the title race.

The B-B-E Jaguars girls' basketball team won 65-27 at Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg tonight. They broke the school record for most regular season wins set last year at 19. Now 20-5 overall, the Jaguars wrap up the regular season on Thursday this week on the home court. They host Kimball Area in a CMC contest.

More to come later tonight. Time to head back to Robotics!!!!

*Good grief! Just saw this...Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted lost at the buzzer tonight to visiting Eden Valley-Watkins in a show down of the top two boys' basketball teams in the Central Minnesota Conference. This is quite a shake-up in the outlook for the race to win at least a share of the CMC title.

As it stands, the CMC boys' basketball standings are:
1. Eden Valley-Watkins (8-3)
2. Maple Lake, HL-W-W (7-4 each)
4. B-B-E (6-4)
5. Pierz (6-5)
6. Paynesville Area (6-6)
7. Kimball Area (4-7)
8. Holdingford (0-11)
