Winning on the road

The B-B-E Jaguars girls' basketball team won 72-32 tonight at Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted. They are now 16-5 overall heading into Friday's home game with Maple Lake.

In boys' basketball news, Pierz knocked Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted out of first place tonight. The Pioneers defeated the Lakers in Pierz 74-62 to square their CMC record at 4-4. HL-W-W is one game behind Pierz in the standings at 5-3. As of now, Eden Valley-Watkins and B-B-E sit in first place together, each with 5-2 records.

And posting some late results from the dance meet on Monday in New London...the B-B-E/Paynesville Pirouttes dance team brought home two nice pieces of hardware! The Pirouettes varsity jazz squad took first place out of six teams. The varsity kick squad placed third. Both JV teams took fourth place in their categories, but both earned season-high scores. This is all really tremendous news for the program. Congratulations!
