Volleyball coverage vs. EVW

The B-B-E Jaguars volleyball team's home match with Eden Valley-Watkins will be aired on Smooth Magic 107 FM of Glenwood. Coverage will begin soon after 6:45 p.m.

*Update: the Jaguars have a 2-1 set lead but are playing from behind in the fourth game. The Eagles have a 15-12 lead.

Brittany Berge's 15th kill of the night tied the fourth game at 15-15. Karsee Kampsen then fired off her sixth ace serve of the night to give the Jaguars a 16-15 lead. They trailed by at least four points earlier in the game. Then a kill by Jenna Dingmann, her sixth of the night, put the Jaguars up 17-15. EV-W called a timeout.

Grace Illies's eighth kill of the night put the Jaguars up 19-18 in game four. An ace block by Ava Mueller made it 20-18. The Eagles tied it at 20-20.

Next, Mueller had a kill for a 21-20 lead. A hitting error by EV-W made it 22-20, and they called their final timeout of the set.

*The Jaguars won 25-21 to clinch the match and improve to 2-0 in the Central Minnesota Conference. Berge led the Jaguars with 15 kills, and Mueller added 10 kills for the night. Karissa Jones had three ace blocks, and Emily Kern had 36 digs.
