Wounded animal

Cutting to the chase...right now the local mafia is a wounded animal.

And anyone who's been on a farm or has any experience with the outdoors knows that a wounded animal is dangerous. And when you corner a wounded animal, you have to be ready to get bitten.

I'm getting tired of these people. I think their ability to hold onto power is running out. They have access to a whopping amount of money, so for now I have zero intentions of letting my guard down.
