(LINK) Volleyball at Maple Lake

*Update: Maple Lake won the first set by a 25-21 score. Both teams were 5-0 coming into tonight.

Game two update: a Paige Rupp kill got the Jaguars within one point, down 19-18. Then a service error made it a two-point game. Then a net violation made it a 21-18 lead for the Irish. A kill by Liz French cut it to 21-20, but then a service error put the Irish ahead 22-20. Maple Lake hit into the net to make it 22-21.

A Maple Lake kill put them ahead 23-21. Karissa Jones had a kill for a 23-22 score. A kill by Maple Lake put them ahead 24-22. B-B-E then got a kill from Abby Berge to stay alive, but the Irish finished it off with a kill for a 25-23 win.

B-B-E jumped out to a 4-0 lead in game three. Karissa Jones had a kill to make it 5-0 and force Coach Kiebel to call a timeout. The lead expanded to 8-0, and then it became 9-0 on a double-hit error. B-B-E hit long for a side out to make it 9-1 in the third set.

Later in the third set, B-B-E built a 16-5 lead, and Maple Lake called their final timeout of the third set.

Later the Irish hit into the net for a 23-13 B-B-E lead. The Irish served long for a 24-14 score. B-B-E got an ace serve from Kailey Fischer to clinch a 25-14 win.
