Jaguars remain undefeated

The No. 6-ranked (Minnesota Basketball News) B-B-E Jaguars girls' basketball team remained undefeated at 6-0 overall with a 93-10 win tonight against A-C-GC. Allisa Knight led the team with 21 points. She made 10 of her 11 two-point shots.

Rounding out the scoring: Abby Berge 16, Karsee Kampsen 12, Harley Roering 10, Allison Dingmann 8, Jozey Goodall 6, Josie Knutson 5, Ella Halvorson and Tiyana Schwinghammer with 4 each, Jackie Lindsay 3, Liz French and Shelby Anderson with 2 each.

The JV Jaguars won 67-10.

Next: the Jaguars travel to Maple Lake next Thursday. The next night they head west for a border battle at Minnewaska Area.

In the latest QRF rankings at Minnesotascores-dot-net...the Jaguars hold the No. 1 spot in Class 1A! The next highest-ranked team in Section 5A is Pine River-Backus at No. 14. Both the Tigers and Jaguars are 6-0, and both are in Sub-Section 5A-West. I saw that Browerville gave PR-B a great game just last night in a 57-47 loss at PR-B high school. Browerville, another very good Sub-Section 5A-West team, is 5-2 on the season and tied with Swanville for first place in the Prairie Conference with a 3-0 mark.

A fun stat: tonight's live stream by the B-B-E broadcasting team received 437 views! Also, B-B-E Class of 2019 graduates Riley Lenarz and Cassandra Tensen provided play-by-play coverage. Tensen played on three straight Section 5A finalist teams from 2017 to 2019.

More to come.
