Second straight

The B-B-E Jaguars boys' basketball team made it two straight against Central Minnesota Conference opponents with a 62-36 win over visiting Royalton tonight. They led 35-16 at the break and expanded the lead to 49-18 with 10:27 left to go.

The Jaguars shot an extremely solid 56 percent from the floor, including 22-of-33 on two-point attempts.

Next: the Jaguars (9-3, 7-2) make the short trip east to Paynesville Area this Friday for a border battle with the Bulldogs. It's a huge game! Paynesville will be keyed up to defeat the Jaguars after B-B-E handled them with a convincing win in Jaguar Country on January 26.

No word yet on Paynesville's home game against Maple Lake tonight. **Update: I learned that the Bulldogs won, but I don't have a score.
