51 TO 50! IT IS final!!!!!!!!!!

B-B-E held the Knights to 29 percent field goal shooting. Sleepy Eye St. Mary's made eight of 10 free throw attempts in the game. The Jaguars made 16 out of 26 free throws.

The Jaguars (23-1) play again in the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP game on Friday this week! I believe the tip-off time is at 12 p.m. (CORRECTION) Tip-off for the state finals is 1 p.m. on Friday.

***Update: Minneota advances to face our Jaguars in the state finals! The Vikings won 54-53 to improve to 24-0 on the season.

Currently, B-B-E schools is working out the ticket situation for Friday, and they have to make a decision on whether or not school will be in session. Not an easy decision. It's a difficult position to be in when the community wants to do everything we can to support the team!

I vote that they close school for Friday, and if needed, try offering day care for young families. That's just my two cents. This is a very special time for B-B-E and Jaguar Country. This is the first-ever berth in a state championship game.

I don't know the logistics of closing just the high school...again, it's above my pay grade.

We want to make the most of it and do all we can to support the team and enjoy the ride!!!
