Five is our new number: it is progress!

The new COVID-19 case number for the approximately 4,285 people living in the zip code areas of Belgrade, Brooten and Elrosa (56316, 56312, 56325) is five. The number five is broken down with one new case reported in the 2,622 people of Belgrade 56312 and four new cases reported in the 1,466 people of Brooten 56316.

As has been the case since mid-December, Elrosa 56325 (197 people) has no new COVID-19 cases reported in the past week.

These figures are for the period of April 29 to May 5.

*Worth noting: for Paynesville's zip code area (56362), they saw a huge spike of new cases reported for April 29 with 36 new cases. For the May 6 report, their new case number was just 13.

On the other hand, Sunburg went up by five for the May 6 report. Nearby Kerkhoven had nine new cases, and nearby Pennock had six new cases. The ebb and flow continues.
