Elite 8 baseball update (VIDEO)

The Elrosa Saints amateur baseball team is hosting their annual Elite 8 tournament this weekend. 

In the second game on Friday night in Elrosa, Hastings beat New London-Spicer 9-1.

Sartell won 5-0 over Fergus Falls to advance to the Saturday night game. Sartell and Elrosa are playing now in today's final game, which started just shy of 9 p.m. We've got about 150 fans in the park tonight. It's a great atmosphere!!

The other Round One score was Tri City 4, Rogers 3.

Round Two scores: Fergus Falls 8, Starbuck 1; NL-S 9, Rogers 8; and Tri City 5, Hastings 4.

*Late Saturday night update: in the Saturday night game to end the second day of action, the Sartell Muskies defeated Elrosa 8-2 in the last semifinal game to advance to the championship. They'll face Tri City at 4 p.m. on Sunday in Elrosa.
