Friday Night Lights V: Jaguars win Homecoming! (VIDEOS)
It's the first Homecoming win for B-B-E Jaguar football since 2017.
The Jaguars won 34-12 over Long Prairie-Grey Eagle to improve to 3-2 overall. After the Jaguars took a 22-0 lead, the teams traded touchdowns the rest of the way. The Jaguars are tied for fourth place with Browerville in the 10-team Sub-District III standings. In third place is U/SA. Tied for first are BOLD and Kimball Area (5-0 each).
After the Jaguars took a 16-0 lead in the first quarter, they scored on a one play, six-yard touchdown drive with 6:38 left in the second quarter on a carry by Gavin Kampsen. The Jaguars had LP-GE pinned deep in their own territory, and a shanked punt gave B-B-E possession at the Thunder six. The two-point conversion pass fell incomplete to make the score B-B-E 22, LP-GE 0. You can see this touchdown and what followed in the video below (2nd quarter).
