Record breaker Jamison Reed (VIDEOS)
It was great to catch up with Jamison Reed following Friday's Homecoming football win. We had quite the scene following the game. First was the exciting post-game huddle with the coaches and players (just as frost was settling on the football field grass)...then there were dozens of students gathering near the stadium bleachers soaking up the moment and enjoying time visiting with players as they left the field. In addition to that, Jamison Reed's family was gathering for photos and having their own chance to soak up what we all had witnessed during the game.
*Here's senior Jamison Reed talking football and his record-breaking career:
Reed is one of seven seniors on this year's football team. They're far from done, and they have a huge, huge test this Friday night at Browerville. It will be a very, very tough game. The Tigers ran all over Benson two weeks ago in a 43-0 win while totaling 255 rushing yards. Browerville led 30-0 at halftime. The Tiger defense was incredible and held the Braves to just 25 net rushing yards in the game and 31 net passing yards.
Last Friday for the Browerville high school Homecoming game, the Tigers prevailed in a dog fight with long-time rival Upsala/Swanville by a 15-14 score.
I spoke about Browerville in my latest sports show. You can catch that below. They lost twice to our Jaguars last year, and you better believe they will move heaven and earth to try and prevent a third straight loss to our team. It is basically going to be war out on the gridiron at the Jack Dressen Sports Complex in Browerville.

That's all for today. I've got sports stories to write.
