A big week ahead of us

We've got another big week with three of our four winter varsity teams in action up to their necks!

The girls' basketball team has a big game with Royalton tomorrow (Tuesday) in Central Minnesota Conference action.

The boys' basketball team travels to Maple Lake on Thursday for their next game. They look to keep pace with the two teams in first place, Eden Valley-Watkins and Paynesville. Those two teams will meet on Friday this week in a game that will determine if our Jaguars can stay in the hunt for a share of the CMC title. They need the Bulldogs to prevail and knock EV-W to two losses...then the Jaguars have to beat the Bulldogs on February 24 to create a hypothetical three-way tie for first.

That clip starts with the score tied at 50-50, but Brady Schwinghammer hit a momentum-shifting three-pointer right after I hit the record button.

For the wrestling team, they open the Section 5A tournament on Thursday this week at 7 p.m. on the home mats against No. 6-seeded Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City. The Jaguars are seeded No. 3 out of 10 teams.
