Fastpitch playoffs seeding, Jaguars seeded No. 6

The B-B-E Jaguars fastpitch team is seeded No. 6 for the upcoming Sub-Section 3A-North playoffs. The Jaguars (2-18 overall) travel to Lac qui Parle Valley high school near Madison on Tuesday to face No. 3-seeded Yellow Medicine East in the quarterfinal round. First pitch is at 3:30 p.m.

The winner of that game plays again that same night in the same location against host LQPV. The Eagles are the No. 2 seed. Both teams in that second game will advance to Saturday's action in Marshall.

Today the boys' golf team hosts a conference meet at Prairie View Golf Course in Brooten (9 a.m.) while the baseball team hosts Eden Valley-Watkins at 4:30 p.m. in Elrosa.

Yesterday in Elrosa, the Elrosa Saints amateur baseball team fell 13-2 to Spring Hill.
