Spring sports have concluded...almost

While the spring sports competition has offically ended at the conclusion of the Class 1A state baseball tournament on Wednesday, June 14, the spring sports coverage in the Bonanza Valley Voice will continue at least another week. Postseason awards for track and field plus baseball have yet to be published.

As of tonight, the state baseball tournament games haven't been uploaded. I ran some rough math on my state baseball photos, and the total number is over 320! Yikes.

I have an ambitious item on the horizon with coverage on the oldest living subscriber to the newspaper, who graduated in 1941 from Brooten high school. She has an amazing live story that I am excited to share at some point in July in The Voice. Stay tuned!
