Clay trapshooting team at state (VIDEO)...and Saints win
The B-B-E Clay Trapshooting team competed at the Class 5A state championships yesterday in Alexandria. I haven't been able to catch up to all of the results, but that will follow in next week's newspaper. Earning Top Gun awards this season were Kara Wold (girls) and Mason Eckstein (boys), and Coach Gary Rodgers presented plaques to those student shooters during the meet.
Here's a video from the first shooting session yesterday:
The sound of the shot guns firing off at the clays is a wonderful sound. What you are hearing is the sound of kids who have learned the value and importance of gun safety as well as the recreation we find in owning and using guns. God Bless that!
B-B-E's team had 40 student shooters this spring. Out of that group, 25 competed at state yesterday.
