Volleyball battling at Marshall (UPDATES*)
Updates were added here on Monday morning regarding this week's upcoming varsity events...
The B-B-E Jaguars volleyball team won their opening match today by defeating Yellow Medicine East in straight sets this morning at the Southwest Minnesota Challenge in Marshall.
In the second match today, the Jaguars faced a high school team from River Falls, Wisconsin and lost a real battle in a three-set match to the Wildcats. River Falls entered the tournament with a 9-3 record against Wisconsin schools. Last night at Southwest MN State University, the Jaguars (4-4 overall currently) opened the tournament with a tough 2-1 loss to Maple Grove before they were swept by Eastview. Both of those teams are in Class 4A.
The Jaguars will conclude the tournament with a match against Tracy-Milroy-Balaton, who was 1-4 overall through last night.

I have a fair amount of energy tied up right now with creating an Elrosa Saints sponsor page to give a big salute to their team from local businesses. They had one of their best summers in town history!
