Jaguar Invite underway, basketball action! (UPDATES, VIDEOS)
The six-team Jaguar Invite is underway at the B-B-E high school in Belgrade. The B-B-E Jaguars wrestling team has placed 10 of their 13 wrestlers into the finals at the first or third-place matches. The finals started at about 5:15 p.m.
At 114, Noah Welte took first place with a pin in the first period. At 107, seventh grader Noah Jensen took second place.
At 121, Aiden Mueller is facing Sam Schmitz, son of Greg Schmitz, Brooten's state champion wrestler back in 1985! Update: Schmitz won an 8-0 decision to take first place in this division.
At 127, seventh grader Jace Mueller won a thrilling come-from-behind win by a 10-7 decision! This earned him third place.
At 139, Ryan Jensen took first place with a pin coming with just a few seconds left in the second period.
In the final team standings, the Jaguars won 261.5 to 197.5 against second-place Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton.

Basketball updates for both teams...
At Eden Valley in a Central Minnesota Conference game, the B-B-E Jaguars girls' basketball team holds a 48-28 lead at halftime. With just over 8 minutes to go, they had a 29-15 lead.
At home, the B-B-E Jaguars boys' basketball team holds a 34-23 lead against state-ranked Upsala. So far so good tonight!!
