Tonight is the always-memorable Parents Night for the B-B-E Jaguars girls' basketball team! The Jaguars host Eden Valley-Watkins tonight. The Eagles are 7-15 overall and 4-6 in the Central Minnesota Conference, which currently puts them in a tie for sixth place with Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City.
Earlier tonight, the Class of 2029 7th grade girls' basketball team earned a regular season split with the EV-W Eagles in Belgrade. They lost badly at EV-W on January 19, but tonight they earned a double-digit win!
**Tonight's game is being aired on Smooth Magic 107 of Glenwood.
In tonight's preliminary games...
The C-squad suffered a close three-point loss to EV-W. For the JV squad, they trailed 31-30 in the final seconds, but a buzzer-beating runner off the left wing by Jacinta Jackson gave the Jaguars a thrilling 32-31 win!
**Varsity update: with 10 minutes to go, the Jaguars are ahead 14 to 9 in the first half.
At halftime: B-B-E 28, EVW 21. The Jaguars held a slim 22 to 20 lead going into the final minute.
