Schedule change: this is great!

I just learned this tonight, and it is really terrific from my vantage point!

A couple days ago, I learned that the B-B-E Jaguars fastpitch team was set to get the season going with a road trip to Swanville on Thursday this week. With some last-minute wrangling by other school Activities Directors, the game tomorrow is postponed...to Friday. Here's what they've got on the docket for Friday, April 5: the Jaguars travel to Swanville, and they will play a fastpitch doubleheader. Also traveling to Swanville will be Ogilvie and Long Prairie-Grey Eagle. The Jaguars will play two total games on Friday: one with the host Bulldogs and the other with LP-GE.

Game times will be announced tomorrow.

Pastor Jeanne's Maundy Thursday sermon begins at about the 7-minute mark and lasts approximately nine minutes.

Today we lost a fair amount of snow. The sun felt quite strong. It was great! Temperatures reached near 50 degrees. For Thursday, the forecast includes a high of 51 degrees with full sunshine. That is set to repeat on Friday, with the high forecast for 53 degrees. Rain is on the horizon for Sunday and Monday.

Thursday UPDATE: the fastpitch season opener starts at 4 p.m. in Swanville on Friday. The Jaguars will take on Long Prairie-Grey Eagle. They also play the host Bulldogs, and that game is set for about 5:30 p.m. Their fastpitch softball complex is located west of their football stadium.
