B-B-E's Fall Sports preseason begins!

While it's still "full bore" summer outside, today marks the first day of preseason practices for the fall sports of the B-B-E Jaguars in football, cross country, girls' tennis and volleyball.

In Region 15C action yesterday, Farming defeated the Cold Spring Rockies 6-5 to clinch the No. 2 seed to the state tournament. The Flames had an incredible weekend that included a 5-4 win over St. Martin on Saturday afternoon. They followed that with an 8-4 win over Richmond earlier yesterday.

Watkins, who hosted the tournament, won the region title and has a first-round bye in Class C's 48-team state tournament field. The third seed went to Cold Spring, and the No. 4 seed was Richmond. Farming opens "state" in Green Isle on Saturday, August 17 at 11 a.m. against Maple Lake. Richmond opens state that same day in Green Isle at 6:30 p.m.
