Another 2-0 day for varsity basketball teams (VIDEO)
Two games played out this afternoon at B-B-E high school with vastly different complexions.
In the first varsity game, the B-B-E Jaguars boys' basketball team won their second straight contest by defeating Browerville 70-69. The Tigers came into the game as the No. 2-ranked team in Sub-Section 5A-West. In Class 1A by QRF, the Tigers were ranked No. 41.
Next: the Jaguars travel to Holdingford on Thursday, February 6 for the start of a four-game road swing.
In the second varsity game, the B-B-E Jaguars girls' basketball team made quick work of Browerville, who entered the day with a 3-15 overall record (1-6 Prairie Conference). After building a 35-14 halftime lead, the Jaguars maintained the wide advantage in a 57-30 win.

Next: the girls' basketball team hosts Eden Valley-Watkins (3-18, 2-8) next Tuesday, February 4. They hold 14-7 overall record and a 7-2 mark in the Central Minnesota Conference.
