Jaguars Girls Basketball Victorious at Holdingford - Double-Digit Conference Win

Tonight the Jaguars girls basketball team earned their 10th win of the season with a double-digit win at Holdingford in Central Minnesota Conference action. It marks the first time since the 1997-1998 season that the girls basketball team hit the 10-win mark with a winning record (10-7). They are 6-3 in the CMC. I apologize for not having an exact score. My 4:30am alarm clock puts me in bed early most nights.

The Huskers fall to 4-5 in the CMC and 9-10 overall.

Other girls basketball scores that I have:
Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted 68, Maple Lake 64 (HL-W-W is 15-4 overall and 7-2 in the CMC)
Pierz 49, Rockford 39

More will follow Friday night. I don't have complete information from the wrestling team, who was in action at the Sauk Centre triangular tonight. They did earn a nice 40-29 win against Parkers Prairie, for their 7th dual meet win of the season. Parkers Prairie is 8-12-2 in duals, including a 31-27 win over Sauk Centre in the Tri tonight.

The girls basketball team travels to Upsala on Friday night. The boys basketball team is at Pierz for a CMC game. The wrestling team travels to Melrose Area for a triangular that includes Eden Valley-Watkins.

We also wish the Jaguars Danceline team best of luck for their Saturday trip to Hawley for the Section 4A tournament. I will post information about that on Friday night. It marks a new chapter in the danceline program at B-B-E, as they embark on a trip to the playoffs for the first time ever.
