It's Eden Valley-Watkins !! The Eagles Sweep Ogilvie to Earn the Right to Face Our Jaguars in the Sub-Section 5A-South Volleyball Quarterfinals

Get there Early!! It could get ugly with only 600 seats for the fans at the elementary. Word is that fans will need to be there at least one hour early to find a place to sit. Otherwise, you'll be peering in from the hallway.

Keep in mind, we easily get 800 to 900 fans at playoff volleyball matches in recent years...when we're on the road. Interestingly, all those fans won't be able to see tomorrow night's match, as there are only seats for 600 fans (at the very most) at the elementary gym.

Although their record is only 8-11 after tonight's win, the Eagles will be very tough. They took out Ogilvie in three games tonight, in Ogilvie no less. They will surely be "up" for tomorrow's match with our Jaguars. It's a typical conference rivalry that's going to the next level... playoffs. It will be the third meeting between the two teams this season. A third meeting in the same season between any two teams, regardless of records, is always a battle.

We'll be ready.

In the Section 6A cross country meet today at the Little Crow Golf Course by New London, Jaguars sophomore runner Grant Bell placed 21st out of approximately 100 runners. Bell's time was 18 minutes, 12.75 seconds. Eighth-grader Jared Sorenson finished 51st with a time of 19:14.75.
