The Jaguars fastpitch suffered two losses in a CMC double-header at Maple Lake on Thursday. Scores were 10-4 and 15-4. They are 9-6 overall and 7-5 in the CMC. (The St.Cloud Times is wrong, reporting them as 9-5 in the CMC)

Maple Lake was ranked #7 in the Coaches Association poll released on May 4th, breaking into the top-10 after being previously un-ranked.

The fastpitch team travels to Murdock on Monday (May 11) to face the K-M-S Fighting Saints (13-2 overall) in a non-conference game. The next day they host Rockford in a CMC double-header at 4:00. That action wraps up the regular season for the team. (Sub-Section 5A-West playoff information is posted below.)

The Jaguars girls golf team placed fifth at a tough Litchfield Invite. As a team the Jaguars totaled 198, with the top four scorecard reading: Amy Knutson 44, Whitney Bertram 45, Jordan Grundeman 49, Marissa Quade 60.

The track and field squads were at Melrose today. Posted above is a photo of Heidi Lensing flying high in the Long Jump for a personal best result of 17 feet, 3 1/2 inches.

The Jaguars baseball team hosts Maple Lake at 4:00 on Friday. That will be held in Elrosa at Saints Field. They also travel to Spicer's Green Lake Diamonds for a 5:00 JV-7:00 Varsity double header against NL-S.
