Whitney Bertram punches her ticket to Class A State Golf Tournament

Jaguars girls golfer Whitney Bertram is state-bound after a fourth-place finish at today's Section 5A meet at Little Crow Golf Course near New London. It will be the senior's second trip to the big show.

She missed third by one stroke, totaling a 95.

Individual qualifiers for the Class A state girls golf tournament:

2nd- Trisha Kienitz (Maccray) 91
3rd- Abby Knutson (Ortonville) 94
4th- Whitney Bertram (BBE) 95
5th- Ivy Schueller (Dawson-Boyd) 101
6th- Jackie Bowman (Osakis) 104

No one from the Jaguars boys golf team made the state tournament.
