2009 Belgrade August Fest kicks off with great turnout at Friday night's Fireman's Chicken Feed at the V.F.W. Club

This photo was taken shortly after 6pm, when the crowd began to get pretty big. A number of families went out on the street to eat on picnic tables set up on the south side of the V.F.W. Club.

Main Street Belgrade will be one of two main sites of most of the August Fest activities, along with the B-B-E High School athletic complex.
