Jaguars Boys Basketball leads early at Howard Lake 11-7, loses 77-64

With 3 1/2 minutes gone in the game, the Jaguars boys basketball is leading Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted 11-7. The game is being held at Howard Lake and is being aired on 106.5 FM out of the Norway Lake/Sunburg area.

**At Minnewaska, the Jaguars girls basketball team trails the host Lakers 16-8 halfways through the first half.

**Update from Howard Lake at 8:36pm - the Jaguars are putting on a strong comeback effort, and with 2:27 left in the second half, they trail the host Lakers 67-59. HL-W-W has gone into a "stall" type offense. It'll be an interesting finish!

At halftime at Minnewaska, the Jaguars girls basketball team trails 30-22. They closed out the first half on a 10-2 run to get back into the game. The downside to the first half was their 4-of-14 performance at the free throw line.

**The Jaguars girls basketball team is trailing the Lakers 64-47 with under 2:00 left in the game.

The boys lost at Howard Lake 77-64. They now have a long break until January 5. Their overall record is 3-2.

The girls lost 68-47 to the host Minnewaska Area Lakers, while falling to 0-4 on the season. They open the Central Minnesota Conference season on Friday at Howard Lake.
