Sending a shout out to the Jaguars cross country team - they'll compete at the Section 6A meet tomorrow in 36 degree climate!

At 4pm for the start of the Section 6A cross country meet, the temperature will be a "balmy" 36 degrees. Yikes!

Only one other time have I covered a sporting event in weather that cold, on October 25, 2003 in Wabasso. That time, the Jaguars football team was competing against the state-ranked Rabbits in the Section 5A semi-final. Final score was Wabasso 46, B-B-E 14. The wind chill was around 10 degrees that afternoon!
