Catching up on Jaguar sports...

Sports briefs:

The Jaguars football JV team defeated Eden Valley-Watkins in their season opener by a score (roughly) of 28-19 last Tuesday.

The Jaguars girls' tennis team had a tough night at Long Prairie last night when they lost 6-1 to Long Prairie-Grey Eagle/Upsala Swanville Area. It was B-B-E's first loss in Prairie Conference play this year.

Tonight (Tuesday) the B-B-E Youth Tackle football team hosts Willmar Red at 6:00pm at the high school sports complex. Parents are reminded to have their athletes on the team at the field by 5:20pm. It will be hot and windy! So be prepared for the weather conditions.

Good luck to the Jaguars volleyball team, as they head to MACCRAY tonight for a non-conference match. The C-squad action begins at 5:00 at the high school in Clara City with JV and Varsity to follow. They've got one gymnasium, hence the crazy schedule.
