Jaguar volleyball survives challenge from Holdingford

The Jaguars volleyball team won in four games tonight over visiting Holdingford in Central Minnesota Conference action. They lost game one 25-17 but then turned it up a notch and took game two 25-14 and game three 25-15.

The Huskers (0-2 CMC, 5-5) stormed ahead 8-3, 16-9 and 18-11 in game four before the Jaguars found their groove and ended the match with a hard-fought 25-22 win.

Up next: B-B-E travels to Ridgewater College on Monday to face #3-ranked Minneota (9-2) at 7:00pm. The Vikings are loaded this year; the Jaguars will have to turn it up about 10 cranks from tonight in order to stay with their highly-rated opponents.

The Jaguars girls' tennis team defeated Parkers Prairie tonight 5-2 to improve to 4-7 overall. The win also evens their Prairie Conference dual meet mark at 2-2. Up next: a trip to Litchfield on Saturday for a quadrangular.
