A familiar sight on Saturday at Husky Stadium

The Jaguars defense is shown holding up an A-C-GC run during a 4th quarter drive with about 6 1/2 minutes left. The Falcons stalled out at the B-B-E 14 with a little over 5 minutes left.

The Jaguars football team battled and battled to the bitter end in the game. I am quite proud of the fact that they showed they deserved to be on that field and in a situation where a state tournament berth was on the line. Earlier in the season when they were 0-3, who would have guessed they'd get so close to joining the Elite Eight field of teams in Class A in November?
