Youth basketball teams finding success this morning

One of the Jaguar elementary girls' basketball teams had a 19-2 lead at halftime in action today at K-M-S high school. I later heard that the lead grew to 30-3 in the second half. They were playing the host Fighting Saints team.

At the elementary in a boys' basketball tournament, the B-B-E 6th grade blue squad earned a 25-19 win over Benson. They had a 16-10 lead at halftime, let the lead shrink to two points and then had a nice push at the end to get a little breathing room before the final buzzer.

Good luck to the Jaguar elementary wrestlers at a tough team tournament in Alexandria today!
