Danger, survival

All kinds of danger lurks outside if you have to leave your house today. As of 06:45, the temperature in the western part of Jaguar Country is 26 below zero. With a 15 mile-an-hour win out of the west/northwest, the "real feel" is 56 below.

It's going to actually dip further in the next few hours and bottom out around 30 below zero at 10:00. Earlier this morning the temperature in Embarrass, MN was 40 below!

Here's some food for thought:
Arctic scientists talk of a 30-30-30 Rule. A temperature of -30F with 30 mph winds can freeze your skin in 30 seconds.

Today and tomorrow the name of the game is survival. This weather can literally kill you. Be safe.
