Elrosa 3rd-4th grade wins BVD title

The Elrosa Saints 3rd-4th grade team with Coach Illies and Coach Fischer.

The Elrosa Saints Pee Wee 3rd-4th grade team just won their division of the Bonanza Valley Days youth baseball tournament. I was buried at work until after 4:00 and ended up just barely missing the final game of the 3rd-4th grade tournament. I know that Elrosa beat Minnewaska Area in the 3rd-4th grade division championship game.

The Paynesville Bulldogs won the 5th-6th grade title.

Beyond that, the turnout for the Brooten Fire Department chicken feed was great. It was nice to see such terrific support for Brooten's finest.

Tomorrow's a huge day! I hope many of you can make the trip to town.
