The B-B-E Jaguars boys' basketball team is having their best season on the courts since winning 15 games in 2015-16. That year they made it all the way to the sub-section finals before losing to Battle Lake.

On Saturday, Sub-Section 5A-South playoff seedings were released.

Next for the Jaguars (14-12) is the Sub-Section 5A-South quarterfinals this week Thursday (March 7) at 7 p.m. on the home court. They take on either No. 7-seeded Onamia (8-16) or No. 10-seeded Ogilvie (0-22). Those teams played on Monday night this week in the play-in round of sub-sections. If B-B-E wins on Thursday, they advance to the semifinals to take on either No. 3 Upsala or No. 6 St. John's Prep. Those teams meet Thursday at Upsala in the quarterfinals.
